GROWING IN THE WORD, TOGETHER

Life Groups

Life Groups are at the heart of discipleship at The King’s Chapel. This is where the church gathers in smaller settings for Bible teaching, prayer, and meaningful community. Through Life Groups, we grow deeper in God’s grace alongside one another.

What to Expect:

When you join a Life Group, you will find:

  • Faithful, Bible-centered teaching

  • Prayer and spiritual encouragement

  • Small group discussion and fellowship

  • A welcoming environment where you are known and cared for

  • Opportunities to grow alongside others in Christ

GROWING IN FAITH

Kids Ministry

Our children’s ministry at The King’s Chapel provides a safe and biblically grounded environment where children are taught God’s Word and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through faithful teaching and intentional care, we seek to help children grow in their understanding of Scripture and the truth of the gospel.

What to Expect:

  • Bible-centered teaching using trusted curriculum

  • Safe, secure classrooms with trained and verified volunteers

  • Age-specific classes from birth through 5th grade

  • Opportunities to grow in love for God

  • We seek to create an environment marked by both grace and truth, where children are cared for, taught faithfully, and encouraged to grow in their understanding of Scripture.

    Children are taught directly from the Bible through trusted, theologically rich curriculum:

    • Sunday Mornings: Answers in Genesis

    • Wednesday Evenings: Generations of Grace – Adventure Club

    Each lesson is designed to help children see the unity of Scripture and understand the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • We provide age-specific environments to best serve each stage of development:

    • Nursery (Birth–4 Years): Loving care in a safe and secure setting

    • Children (Kindergarten–5th Grade): Structured teaching, Scripture memory, and guided learning

  • Sundays at 9:00 AM

    • Life Groups for all ages, including children’s classes

    Wednesdays at 6:00 PM

    • Adventure Club (K–5th Grade)

    • Nursery available (Birth–4 Years)

  • We understand the importance of trust when it comes to your children. Every volunteer is:

    • Carefully vetted and background-checked

    • Trained in safety procedures and ministry expectations

    • Committed to serving with care, integrity, and Christlike love

    Our goal is to provide a secure environment where both children and parents feel confident and at ease.

  • We believe parents are the primary disciplers of their children. Our role is to support and strengthen what is being taught in the home by providing faithful instruction, encouragement, and resources.

    Together, we seek to raise children who are grounded in the truth, growing in faith, and walking in obedience to Christ.

RAISING UP THE NEXT GENERATION IN CHRIST

Student Ministry

The Youth Ministry at Safe Haven is a space where students can explore their faith, ask honest questions, and form lasting friendships. Through weekly gatherings and service projects we help teens develop a real relationship with Jesus that goes beyond Sunday.

What to Expect:

  • Verse-by-verse teaching through books of the Bible

  • Prayer and small group discussion

  • Christ-centered worship and fellowship

  • Teaching on practical topics such as evangelism and apologetics

  • Opportunities to build lasting friendships and community

ENCOURAGING WOMEN IN THE WORD AND COMMUNITY

Women’s Ministry

The women’s ministry at The King’s Chapel exists to encourage and equip women through the teaching of Scripture, prayer, and meaningful community. Our desire is to see women grow in Christlikeness, grounded in God’s Word and strengthened through relationships with other believers.

  • Gatherings designed to strengthen your walk with Christ

    Through Bible studies, home groups, and gatherings throughout the year, women are given opportunities to grow both personally and together in the life of the church.

  • Women Living Well

    • Based on Titus 2:3–5, Women Living Well brings older and younger women together monthly in homes for fellowship, food, and time in God’s Word. This ministry is designed to foster discipleship, encouragement, and Christ-centered relationships.

    SaltShakers Bible Study

    • Based on Matthew 5:13, SaltShakers meets on Tuesdays from September through April. Women gather in small groups for Bible study, followed by a time of fellowship and teaching. Both morning and evening options are available, and the morning session includes a children’s program and homeschool support.

    Women’s Ministry Events

    • Throughout the year, we host a variety of events that encourage women in the Word and strengthen gospel-centered community. These gatherings provide opportunities for fellowship, teaching, and spiritual growth.

Men’s Ministry

The men’s ministry at The King’s Chapel exists to glorify God by equipping men to faithfully fulfill their God-ordained roles in the home, the church, the workplace, and the community. Our desire is to see men grow in Christlikeness, grounded in the truth of God’s Word and strengthened for faithful leadership.

HONORING CHRIST THROUGH REVERENT, BIBLICAL WORSHIP

Worship & Music Ministry

The Worship and Music Ministry at The King’s Chapel exists to assist the body of Christ in glorifying God the Father, through the work of Christ initiated by the Holy Spirit. Our aim is to lead the congregation in singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, rich in theology, and offered with hearts of thankfulness to God.

When you gather with us in worship, you will experience:

  • Biblically rich hymns and songs

  • Passionate and involving congregational singing

  • A blend of musical expressions, from orchestra and choir to contemporary ensembles

  • Worship that is reverent, joyful, and reflects our transcendent God

  • Our desire is to plan, rehearse and present a worship service that faithfully adheres to the Biblical commands, implications and descriptions of worship. Reformed Biblical Worship observes scripture above culture in the enactment of true worship

    We observe and follow these priorities:

    • Worship in Spirit and in Truth – It is not about the music, it is about offering spiritual sacrifices by the aid and work of the Holy Spirit.

    • Singing to one another – We believe that believers are command to regularly sing to one another as a way to teach and admonish each other.

    • Prioritize God’s transcendence – We believe that God is awesome and above all things. Our musical praise should reflect the greatness and bigness of our God.

    • Choir
      Join others in singing to one another
      Rehearsals: Thursdays at 7:00 PM

    • Kids Choir (2nd–8th Grade)
      Teaching young voices to sing praise to God

    • Instrumentalists
      Serve through playing an instrument in both orchestra and ensemble settings

    • Audio / Visual Team
      Support the worship ministry through sound, media, and production

Making the Gospel Known Near and Far

The Missions Ministry at The King’s Chapel exists to make the power of the gospel known by partnering with local, national, and international mission efforts. Our desire is to see Christ proclaimed, lives transformed, and churches strengthened for the glory of God.

    Local Missions

    We partner with ministries throughout the Raleigh-Durham area and across North Carolina, serving the community through care, counseling, and gospel-centered outreach.

    National Missions

    We support partners across the country who are planting churches, serving in various fields, and advancing the gospel in communities throughout the United States.

    International Missions

    We partner with missionaries, church planters, and sending agencies around the world, seeking to make Christ known among the nations.
